Plane crashes into Phoenix neighborhood

On Thursday, a plane crashed into the front yard of a Phoenix home killing one and seriously injuring another.

According to Fox News, The small plane was heading toward the Scottsdale airport just after 10 a.m .when it hit the ground in the residential area. Witnesses told officials that the plane was traveling very low before it crashed. The plane burst into flames when it hit the ground.

One man was able to escape, but the other was trapped inside. Witnesses ran over to help get the man out of the plane, but they were unsuccessful. The man who survived was transported to a trauma center to be treated.

Plane lost after taking off from Phoenix

Police officials are looking for a plane that went down in Colorado after sending a distress signal out. The plane lost contact shortly after asking for help.

The single-engine Piper Malibu, was flying from Deer Valley Airport in Phoenix to Pueblo Memorial Airport in Colorado when the pilot lost communication at 2:45 p.m.

According to a spokesperson from the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane disappeared eight miles west of Silver West Airport in Colorado. It is unknown how many passengers were on board and crews are currently searching for the missing plane now.
