A semi-truck accident in Phoenix caused 24 cattle to be killed after the truck flipped and rolled over.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the semi-truck was traveling from Nebraska to Phoenix and carrying 37 cattle when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The 37-year-old man had been driving for 17 hours when the accident occurred. Emergency crews and nearby ranchers helped clear the scene and transport cattle for nearly eight hours causing the road to be closed during this time. The driver was cited for failure to control his vehicle as a result of the accident.
